HELLO!


My name's Chloe & I love designing for FlutterLove! 

I'm 20 & live in an apartment in Chelmsford, England with my boyfriend - I'd love to say "and our sweet kitten" or "little dog" but we rent and are not allowed pets here - this saddens me deeply of course. On a brighter note we are moving soon - so the possibility of a kitten or pygmy hedgehog may be on the horizon!   (If I am lucky enough to adopt a little hedgehog her name WILL be Miss. Tiggywinkle!)

ANYWAY! Before FlutterLove my main creative focus was Photography, and I was lucky enough to do some Photography work in London for quite a while where I had some wonderful experiences. After that I decided to focus on my own personal Photography projects. I do have another blog and Etsy shop for my Photography. If you're curious you can view it here.

Recently I have rediscovered my passions for many creative endeavors, and I'm starting a degree in Visual Art in September which will involve Illustration, Graphic Design & Book design which I am so, so excited about starting!

At heart I'm just an all round creative person - I love to read, write, photograph, paint, draw, sew, knit, stitch, discover, explore, experiment. The Patchwork Printerie was born because it allows me to explore so many of these passions and loves. At the Patchwork Printerie I create affordable, printable scrapbooking papers. Collage is a particular creative passion of mine and I think it's so wonderful to just be able to sit down with beautiful papers, photographs and materials and just create to your hearts content. I'm so passionate about digital, printable scrapbook papers in particular because they're extremely affordable and so easy to use. Also, the fact you can print them time and time again is extremely exciting and opens so many creative doors.

Some other great loves of mine are: Poetry, Children's illustration (I'm obsessed with Beatrix Potter and Stephen Mackey), floral fabrics, vintage children's books, Italian food, fantasy novels and Malteasers hot chocolate!
